5 of 5 Great light hiking knife September 4, 2025
Reviewer: Adam H from Tampa, FL United States
This really is a great hiking knife, it’s the perfect size, clips easily on a belt (or thrown in a pocket if you’re like me and don’t use a ton of belts on trail) and that elmax steel keeps a razor sharp edge through quite a bit of abuse.

5 of 5 Perfect EDC Knife August 24, 2025
Reviewer: TW from Quincy, IL United States
I have a bunch of edc type knives from Benchmade, Spyderco, White River Knives but this Fastpak is the one I keep going back to. The handle is smaller than my hand, I can get 3 1/2 fingers on it however the contour of the handle makes it feel well purchased. I had my doubts on the short handle but it flat out works for the size and shape of the blade. I plan on buying another.

5 of 5 Awesome EDC Fixed Blade. August 19, 2025
Reviewer: Everyman EDC Gear from IL, USA
The Fastpak has quickly become one of my most carried fixed blades.  I added a second belt loop and carry it on my belt, appendix crossdraw.  I don't think there's a better ultralight EDC fixed blade out there, and if there is I haven't found it yet.

The only thing I'd suggest a change one is the sheath, I think adding another grommet or two could make it much friendlier to mounting an Ulticlip, which would make it much better for pocket carry.

4 of 5 Almost perfect, but scales present some issues January 22, 2025
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Anchorage, AK United States
Big selling point for me was the ability to use the wrenches in the skeletonized handle for nuts on my bike while touring. Obviously, the scales interfere with those, but just having shorter scales, like on some of the old ESEE Izulas, or the Benchmade Altitude (IIRC) would give you best of both worlds. Or add jimping to the handle; as it is, it’s very slippery and thin to use without the scales. Additionally, the scales themselves are almost just chunky box shaped pieces without a lot of contour. I can tell thought has been put into them (texture and some swell mid grip) but it still makes for kind of a bulky, ‘budget’ feeling design. Sheath is perfect.

5 of 5 Great knife January 15, 2025
Reviewer: K Lasater from Palmdale, CA United States
I have knives from lots of USA made companies and this Fastpak with Elmax steel beats them all from cutting tons of cardboard to prying cups out of brake calipers,, still has original edge, and I sharpen my knives but this one is still going strong, worth way more than they charge

5 of 5 Perfect size, capable EDC fixed blade January 15, 2025
Reviewer: John The Dude from SW VA
The Fastpak combines a bird and trout style full flat ground elmax blade with comfortable scales and a kydex sheath to write home about.  Would make an awesome gift, too, if you’re thinking about other folks in your life that love quality tools and gear. Nothing to complain about, this knife is the latest addition to the pocket rotation. Cheers, Rainier Knives
