I love my recently purchased basecamp.  I have been edc’ing my fastpak for several years, and I wanted something a little larger, but still very light.  I narrowed my choices down to the mkc speedgoat utra, the Bradford guardian 3.5 ul, the spiderco mule series, and the Rainier basecamp.  I am very pleased that I went with the basecamp, as the quality is excellent, and Tom has always provided excellent service.  Thank you.

Knife is very nice and extremely sharp out of the box. The sheath fits very well and has a nice positive lock. The button on the belt attachment did not last long. The screw pulled through when I repositioned and tightened it. I just used another button from a sheath I recently got on Amazon.

Great edge, nicely balanced, and light weight. I bought one as a gift and struggled to let it go so I decided to get on for myself. I plan to get many years of use in camping and backpacking with this knife. I also love that they are crafted with care locally in the PNW.
